The Fair
Labor Standards Act (FLSA) covers wage and hour rules for U.S. workers,
including what hours employees can work and what base and overtime
compensation rules employers must follow.
The FLSA Training & Certification Program covers all basic and detailed
rules for worker eligibility, minimum wage, overtime pay, and hours-worked
requirements. The Program also has an extensive section on exemptions,
child labor, and record keeping requirements, and a special section on
enforcement remedies and defenses, as well as a multitude of
easy-to-understand examples and administrative tips to help ensure
learning.
This self-paced Program is available from any browser, and all content is
accessible for one full year from date of purchase. It should take
approximately eight hours to complete the training portion of the Program
and two hours to take the optional Certification test. Certificates of
Achievement are automatically mailed and any Test questions answered
incorrectly are viewable online. The program also qualifies for eight
hours of PHR and SPHR re-certification credit hours.
