CREDENCIA MAXPAST VERIFICATION SERVICES

If you are unemployed, or seeking a new position with a different employer, then you have probably already checked your credit report to make sure it is error free and current. However, did you know that your employer may also order a background check on you that will provide a more comprehensive report on your personal history, employment and educational records? 

In this report, your employer will see the following information:

- Your Social Security Number
- Addresses at which you have recently resided
- Your Employment and Educational history (highest level of degree achieved)
- Any criminal records and history going back 5 years

If there are any mistakes or errors in these reports, it may be enough to dissuade your potential employer from making an offer. 

Supposing another person has been using your social security number and has obtained credit cards with it, or they may have amassed a series of drunk driving convictions. Perhaps they have used your name and social security number in traffic court in a different state, creating a record of convictions and negative points for offenses that you never even knew existed! Or perhaps you did not know that you are a wanted felon, with a history of larceny, assaulting a politician, stealing a police car for joy-riding and were convicted of grand theft auto when you were 3 years old!
